The Arcane Catalyst is used for soul storage and advanced 
enchanting. It stores souls, which can then be used by a 
nearby [Stabilized Enchanter](@oritech:enchanter_block) or for direct book enchanting.

## Soul Collection

The catalyst automatically collects any souls released within a **16-block radius**. 
Souls are released when mobs die nearby or when [Soul Flowers](@oritech:wither_crop_block) 
are harvested.

## Stabilization & Storage

The catalyst has a base capacity of **50 souls**. To store more, it must be 
supplied with energy, such as from a [Laser Arm](@oritech:laser_arm_block). 

- **Charging**: Every **20 RF/t** provided increases the soul capacity by **1**.
- **Decay**: If the energy supply is cut, the capacity will slowly drop back to 50.

    **Stability Risk**: If the catalyst contains more souls than its current capacity 
    (e.g., if power is lost while it's full), it will become unstable. After **3 seconds** 
    (60 ticks) of instability, it will **explode**. The explosion strength increases with 
    the amount of excess souls.

## Hyper Enchanting

By placing an **Enchanted Book** in the first slot and an item in the second, you 
can enchant items directly. 

- **Level Requirement**: The book used must be at the **maximum vanilla level** for that 
enchantment.
- **No Restrictions**: This method ignores standard enchantment rules, allowing you 
to apply any enchantment to any item.
- **Hyper Levels**: If the item already has the enchantment at its maximum level, 
the catalyst can "hyper enchant" it to even higher levels.
- **Consumption**: The enchanted book is consumed during the hyper enchanting process.

Hyper enchanting costs much more souls than standard enchanting, scaling 
exponentially with the target level.
