The fragment forge is a major step in improving the yield of your ore processing chain.
Fragmenting ore blocks creates **raw ores**, and fragmenting raw ores 
creates **ore clumps**.


## Efficiency and Byproducts

When fragmenting raw ores, the fragment forge always
outputs one ore clump and 3 additional small ore clumps of the same type. It also creates 3 small clumps of a different resource
as byproduct.

The production of these byproducts can be doubled by
attaching a [yield addon](@oritech:machine_yield_addon) to the machine. Only 1 yield addon is supported.
