Reactor rods are interior components that need to be supplied with uranium or plutonium pellets.
A [fuel port](@oritech:reactor_fuel_port) over each rod stack is needed to insert the fuel.

Rods are available in single, [double](@oritech:reactor_double_rod), and [quad](@oritech:reactor_quad_rod) variants.
Higher tier rods generate more energy and heat.

Placing rods next to each other or next to [neutron reflectors](@oritech:reactor_reflector) increases their
energy output through neutron pulse interactions.
