# Dungeon and Bosses

> [!TIP]
> Read [Lore]($lore) for the full story behind what you find down here — told without the crafting/mechanics details on this page.

## The Library Dungeon

A library structure hides a pitfall down into a multi-room dungeon full of tunnels, treasure rooms, and dangers — the main source of [Ancient Spell Books](@arcanelens:ancient_spell_book).

A second, much larger pitfall deeper in drops straight into the boss chamber below.

## The Faith Shrine

A standalone structure, separate from the main dungeon.

## The One Who Sleeps

A boss with its own sunken arena, reached through the dungeon's second pitfall. Defeating it drops [Sleeping God armor](@arcanelens:sleeping_god_armor) and marks your first step into the post-boss meta-progression — see [Faith and the Hunger]($faith_and_hunger).

## The Warped Hollow and Broken Vessel

Pushing a [Living Chest](@arcanelens:storage_network) network to full capacity and performing the Overload Ritual (see the [Overload Core](@arcanelens:overload_core)) tears open a portal to the **Warped Hollow** — a real, explorable dimension, not a private room. Open as many portals as you like; each one lands in its own private area of the same shared space, and every portal is two-way and permanent.

Ruined chambers are scattered throughout the Warped Hollow, each a small hand-built site worth finding. Deep inside waits **Broken Vessel**, a second full boss fight with four HP-driven phases as the warped fungus consuming it takes over.

- Completing the Overload Ritual for the first time hands you a compass pointing straight to Broken Vessel's lair.
- Once you've found the lair yourself, it's re-fightable any time via the [Vessel Summoning Charm](@arcanelens:vessel_summoning_charm).
- Defeating it drops the materials needed to upgrade [Sleeping God armor into its Vessel-Bound form](@arcanelens:vessel_bound_armor).

## The Pantheon Revealed

After defeating The One Who Sleeps and earning the Hunger's attention, the Hunger Idol will eventually point you toward a hidden shrine buried in the Warped Hollow. Finding it gives a real Faith reward and the fullest picture yet of what you've been dealing with — new lore ties the Sleeping God, the Hunger, and Broken Vessel together through a shared, unnamed infection: **the Warping**.
