**Organic Substrate** is a potion used in certain recipes.

It can be combined with Basic [DNA Helices](@geneticsresequenced:dna_helix) in the [Incubator](@geneticsresequenced:incubator) to create [Potions of Cell Growth](@geneticsresequenced:potion_of_cell_growth).

Alternatively, it can be combined with [Cells](@geneticsresequenced:cell) in the Incubator to duplicate them, making a new identical Cell for each Substrate.
