--- title: Syringe id: geneticsresequenced:syringe related_items: [geneticsresequenced:syringe] type: item --- The **Syringe** is used to hold blood, which is the primary medium for injecting Genes into a host. **Only the blood's owner will be able to accept the Genes contained within it.** Hold right-click to use the syringe, extracting some of your own blood. It will be contaminated, requiring decontamination in a [Blood Purifier](@geneticsresequenced:blood_purifier) before it can be used. Then, place it into a [Plasmid Injector](@geneticsresequenced:plasmid_injector) to inject completed [Plasmids](@geneticsresequenced:plasmid) into it. Each completed Plasmid contains a Gene, which will be given to you upon re-injecting the blood. You can have as many Plasmids injected into the Syringe as you like. Once you have a Syringe with injected Plasmids, use the Syringe again to re-inject the blood back into yourself, granting you the Genes contained within.
