*Callovosaurus* (meaning **"Callovian lizard"**) is a genus of iguanodontian dinosaur known from Middle Jurassic rocks of England.
It is one of the earliest known dryosaurids and represents a small, agile herbivore that lived in forested environments.

## Appearance
- Small, lightweight ornithopod with a slender build
- Long tail used for balance while running
- Narrow head with a beak suited for cropping vegetation
- In-game size: **4 blocks long** and **1 block tall**

## Behavior
- **Passive**: Will flee when attacked or startled
- Often found grazing in small groups
- Prefers open forests and lightly wooded areas

## Obtaining
Callovosaurus does not spawn naturally. To obtain one, you must:
1. Find ![](@jurassic-saga:textures/item/natural/entity/animal/v2/extinct/callovosaurus/callovosaurus_fossil_remains) [**Callovosaurus Remains**]($content/items/fossil) or fossils
2. Use the fossil revival process to create a Callovosaurus
3. Hatch from an **Alligator Egg** type egg

## Diet

- Callovosaurus' name, "Callovian Lizard", comes from the Callovian stage of the Jurassic period, of which it was alive and present on!
