*Gallimimus* was a fast, ostrich-like dinosaur from the **Late Cretaceous period**, discovered in Mongolia.
It had long legs adapted for speed and a toothless beak, suggesting a varied diet.
Fossil evidence indicates Gallimimus may have moved in large groups, potentially for protection or migration.

## Behavior
- **Neutral**: Will not attack unless provoked

## Obtaining
Gallimimus does not spawn naturally. To obtain one, you must:
1. Find ![](@jurassic-saga:textures/item/natural/entity/animal/v1/extinct/gallimimus/gallimimus_fossil_remains) [**Gallimimus Remains**]($content/items/fossil) or fossils
2. Use the fossil revival process to create a Gallimimus
3. Hatch from an **Alligator Egg** type egg

## Diet
- **Omnivore**: feeds on both <img src="https://i.imgur.com/INKBvsq.gif" width={32} height={32} style={{imageRendering: "pixelated"}}/> [**Leaves**](https://minecraft.wiki/w/Leaves) and small invertebrates
- Grazes on vegetation and forages for insects and small prey in open plains or forest edges

- Gallimimus is the most commonly found ornithomimosaur in the Nemegt Formation, where it lived alongside its relatives such as Anserimimus and Deinocheirus!
