# Aquamarine Shard

The Aquamarine Shard is the primary material for Aquamarine armor. It drops directly from [](@firesreflamed:aquamarine_ore) and [](@firesreflamed:deepslate_aquamarine_ore) — no smelting required. Aquamarine has no tool set; armor is its only use.

## Obtaining

Mine [](@firesreflamed:aquamarine_ore) with any pickaxe to drop Aquamarine Shards directly. You can also smelt the ore for a small XP bonus.

9 Aquamarine Shards can be compacted into a [](@firesreflamed:block_of_aquamarine), or broken back down.

## Uses

Aquamarine Shards are used to craft the full armor set:

- [](@firesreflamed:aquamarine_chestplate)
- [](@firesreflamed:aquamarine_leggings)
- [](@firesreflamed:aquamarine_boots)

Aquamarine Shards also serve as the **repair material** for all Aquamarine armor on an anvil.
