# Willow Wood

The Willow is a new tree type added by Fire's Reflamed. It generates naturally in the Overworld and provides a complete wood set with all the standard block and item variants you'd expect from a wood type, plus unique hanging leaves that give it a weeping willow appearance.

## Getting Started

Willow trees generate naturally in the Overworld. Chop one down to get [](@firesreflamed:willow_log)s and collect [](@firesreflamed:willow_sapling)s from the leaves to grow your own. Plant the sapling on any dirt-type block with at least light level 9, or use Bone Meal to speed up growth.
