Energy ports are used to output the energy generated by the reactor.

They must be placed on the outer wall of the reactor shell. Each port may output up to **25,000 RF/t**.

Large high-density reactors producing thousands of RF will require multiple energy ports linked to a
[superconductor](@oritech:superconductor) network to prevent power bottlenecks.

For detailed information on reactor mechanics, see the [nuclear reactor guide]($reactor/introduction).
