# Carbonized Iron

Carbonized Iron is an intermediate crafting material used to produce [](@firesreflamed:steel_ingot). It is created by combining an Iron Nugget with any coal variant, then smelted to yield Steel.

Smelt Carbonized Iron in a furnace or blast furnace to obtain [](@firesreflamed:steel_ingot):
