Oritech introduces several new ores to the world, primarily **Nickel**, **Platinum** and **Uranium**.
These can be found underground or in **Ore Boulders** on the surface.

Ore boulders are large clusters of deepslate and ore blocks that generate on the surface.
They show what lies beneath: a [Resource Node](@oritech:resource_node_redstone)
of the same material can always be found directly below at the bedrock layer.

### Ore Locations
- **Nickel**: Generates between **Y -65 and Y 40**. It is also a very common component
of surface ore boulders.
- **Platinum**: Rare ore in the overworld, generating between **Y -60 and Y -20**.
It is much more abundant in **The End**.
- **Uranium**: Found in [Uranium Veins](@oritech:deepslate_uranium_ore) in deep caves.
- **Vanilla Ores**: Iron, copper, and gold can also be found in ore boulders
and as resource nodes.
