Sending mail
Three things are needed to start a delivery:
- Mailable item with an address tag applied to it
- Food for the pigeon (accepts any seeds)
- A pigeon
Placing mail in the sending slot and seeds in the food slot will open the front hatch of a mailbox. Nearby pigeons, that are not tired will fly to the mailbox, consume the food, pick up the mail and start the delivery process.
Front hatch will be automatically closed when either the mail or food is missing.
Receiving mail

Mail can be retrieved from the inbox by clicking on it in mailbox interface:

Hoppers will also extract mail from inbox, when placed underneath the block.
Redstone signal
Redstone comparator will output a signal strength of 15 when the inbox has any mail inside, and 0 otherwise.
