The Steel Ingot is a crafted mid-tier material sitting between Iron and Diamond in most stats. Unlike other materials in this mod, Steel has no ore — it must be manufactured from Iron.

Obtaining
Steel is produced through a two-step crafting process:
- Combine one Iron Nugget with any Coal or Charcoal (shapeless) to create Carbonized Iron.
- Smelt the Carbonized Iron in a furnace or blast furnace to obtain a Steel Ingot.

You can also compact 9 Steel Ingots into a Block of Steel, or combine 9 Steel Nuggets into one ingot.

Steel Ingots can be found as early loot inside the Snow Brick Igloo structure, giving you access to Steel before you've set up a smelting chain.

- Steel Pickaxe, Steel Shovel, Steel Axe, Steel Hoe
- Steel Sword
- Steel Bat
- Steel Helmet, Steel Chestplate, Steel Leggings, Steel Boots
- Drill Bit and Drill
- Steel Chain, Steel Lantern, (Not found)
- Block of Steel (9 ingots)
Steel Ingots also serve as the repair material for all Steel-tier equipment on an anvil.
