Oritech introduces several new ores to the world, primarily Nickel, Platinum and Uranium. These can be found underground or in Ore Boulders on the surface.

Ore boulders are large clusters of deepslate and ore blocks that generate on the surface. They show what lies beneath: a Resource Node of the same material can always be found directly below at the bedrock layer.

Ore Locations

• Nickel: Generates between Y -65 and Y 40. It is also a very common component of surface ore boulders.
• Platinum: Rare ore in the overworld, generating between Y -60 and Y -20. It is much more abundant in The End.
• Uranium: Found in Uranium Veins in deep caves.
• Vanilla Ores: Iron, copper, and gold can also be found in ore boulders and as resource nodes.
