The portable laser is a ranged tool for mining and combat. It has two modes you can switch between.

Modes

Press Shift + Right Click to switch modes.

• Mining Mode: Fires a beam that breaks blocks from far away. You can also use it to charge machine cores or speed up some machines. Like a mini enderic laser in your hand.
• Combat Mode: Similar to mining mode, but will not destroy blocks, only damage entities. It deals high damage and can turn creepers into charged creepers.

Features

• Range: The laser can reach blocks up to 128 blocks away.
• Upgrades: You can use the Efficiency enchantment to make the mining mode faster. Enchantments from pickaxes and also Sharpness will work on the laser.
• Energy Saver: Applying Unbreaking will reduce the energy consumed by both the mining beam and combat shots.

Energy

The laser uses a lot of energy. Charge it in a charger or with an exo chestplate.
