Most minecraft proxies won't work with AutoModpack due to early login stage packets. However Gate Lite is supported and works well with AutoModpack. Here is a list of known proxies and their compatibility:

If you use Proxy with AutoModpack, you need to set hostPort in the config to the port that your modpack is hosted on.
If you host modpack on the minecraft port (hostModpackOnMinecraftPort is true), you need to set hostPort to the port that your minecraft server is running on.
