GUI

Known issues & quirks specific to the GUI

Triggers/songs are disappearing from the GUI after reloading

If something fails to parse from the config file the GUI won't be able to display it. Usually it's just a required parameter that's missing or an improper trigger reference but the log should mention what the specific issue is.

Note that this doesn't affect the config file unless you save over it (apply changes) with the GUI. The GUI will only save what it knows about and it doesn't know about things that failed to parse.

Multiple Channels

The GUI does not yet have support for multiple channels. If you need to add, delete, or modify extra channel data, this can currently only be done from the config files.

Songs

Known song-specific issues & quirks

Song Names

Due to an issue with the parser, song names with spaces or special characters are not able to be read in properly at the moment. Ensure the only characters in your song names are a-z, A-Z, 0-9, -, or _.

Audio Output Device

The Music Triggers sound engine is separate from the vanilla Minecraft sound engine. Currently the audio is only able to output to the default sound device.

NYI & WIP

Stuff that isn't actually fully imlplemeneted yet. Note that the stuff listed here might be out of date. Refer to the associated issue for a potentially more up-to-date list of WIP features.

V6

Features that were specifically present in V6 which aren't fully implementd yet:

- The CREDITS special case for the gui trigger
- The BOSS special case for the mob trigger
- The mob_nbt parameter for the mob trigger
- The pvp trigger
- The victory trigger
- Persistent data (data saved across restarts for specific play_once`values, toggles, etc)
- Interrupted sound categories/music blocking
- The GUI search bar
- GUI sorting
