Letter and quill is an item that can be used to write and edit text. It only has 1 page, but it can fit roughly one 1/3 of a page more text than a single book page.
Folding finalizes it and prevents further edits, creating a letter.

Usage

Writing

By using a book and quill in their hand, the player can open a text editor GUI.

The player can write 16 lines of text, and each line can have a width of 142 pixels.
Letters have text formatting support, similar to Scholar.

Letter will automatically save changes when GUI is closed.

Info

Singleplayer world will not be paused when editing a letter, unless enabled in config.

Copying Letters

Letter and Quill can be used to copy a letter by crafting both items together.

Folding

Letters can be folded by pressing the "Fold" button while in the interface, converting it to a letter item.
After it has been folded, it cannot be edited again.
