Mr.DNA Mr. DNA's Fun Trivia

  • Albertosaurus lived a few million years before its mighty cousin, the Tyrannosaurus, in what is now the Canadian province of Alberta!
  • Albertosaurus was named after Alberta, a Canadian province that was, funnily enough, established in the very same year the dinosaur was officially named: 1905!
  • Albertosaurus might have been a pack hunter, as fossils of multiple individuals have been found together, although this may have also just been caused by other circumstances and not because they were pack hunters!
