The Devourer is an alternate form of The Watcher. While The Watcher is awakened to level 4 or higher, reforging it at a Runic Forge located in the Deep Dark transforms it into The Devourer. Reforging below level 4 returns it to The Watcher.

Unique Effect: Devouring Mass

Passive

Successfully deflecting an attack opens an abyssal maw beneath the attacker, immediately dealing Soul damage to nearby enemies and dragging them toward its center for half a second. Ravenous Reprisal can strike the attacker and up to five additional enemies, and can retaliate against attackers up to 24 blocks away.

If the maw opens within reach of your active Devouring Mass, the mass feeds on the reprisal and grows. Its tendrils redirect affected enemies toward the mass instead of the maw.

On Right Click

Launch an abyssal seed toward the targeted location. The seed blooms into a floating mass.

The mass lashes nearby enemies with tendrils and drags them into its core before feeding on them. The mass grows larger as it captures and feeds upon enemies.

Tendrils emerge from Gloam, grasping at enemies to slow and root them. Enemies that die within it feed the Gloam and cause it to spread.

When the mass expires, its tendrils retract and its captives are released.
