The ByteBuddies Goggles provide advanced night vision capabilities combined with mining enhancement and ByteBuddy support features. These goggles consume energy to boost mining speed and provide free movement speed buffs to nearby ByteBuddy entities, making them perfect for collaborative mining operations.

• +2 Armor Protection: Improved defense compared to base goggles
• Mining Speed Boost: Consumes energy to mine faster while breaking blocks
• ByteBuddy Support: Grants free Speed II buff to nearby ByteBuddies

Special Abilities

Mining Enhancement

When active and breaking blocks, the ByteBuddies Goggles provide a significant mining speed boost:

• Effect: Increased mining/digging speed while active
• Energy Cost: Additional energy per block broken
• Works on: All breakable blocks
• Activation: Automatic when breaking blocks

ByteBuddy Speed Boost

• Range: 30 block radius around the wearer
• Effect: Speed II (Movement Speed +40%) for 60 seconds
• Target: All ByteBuddy entities within range
• Cost: Free - no additional energy consumption
• Cooldown: 3 seconds between applications per ByteBuddy

Usage

Equipping

• Place in helmet armor slot for protection and mining boost
• Alternatively, equip in curios/trinket slot if you have compatible mods installed
• Right-click while equipped to cycle through modes

Mode Switching

• ON: Continuously active night vision, mining boost, and ByteBuddy support
• OFF: Completely disabled, conserves energy
• AUTO: Automatically activates in darkness (light level < 7)

Mining Enhancement

• Simply break blocks while the goggles are active
• Mining speed boost applies automatically
• Monitor energy consumption during extended mining sessions

ByteBuddy Support

• Keep goggles active near ByteBuddy entities
• Speed boost applies automatically every 3 seconds
• No extra energy cost for this feature

Energy Management

• Monitor energy level through the HUD display
• Higher energy consumption during active mining
