The Willow is a new tree type added by Fire's Reflamed. It generates naturally in the Overworld and provides a complete wood set with all the standard block and item variants you'd expect from a wood type, plus unique hanging leaves that give it a weeping willow appearance.
Getting Started
Willow trees generate naturally in the Overworld. Chop one down to get Willow Logs and collect Willow Saplings from the leaves to grow your own. Plant the sapling on any dirt-type block with at least light level 9, or use Bone Meal to speed up growth.
Natural Blocks
Blocks that generate as part of the Willow tree itself.
- Willow Log — The trunk block. Strip with an axe to get Stripped Willow Log.
- Willow Wood — Bark-on-all-sides variant, crafted from 4 logs. Strip with an axe to get Stripped Willow Wood.
- Stripped Willow Log — Stripped trunk block. Used in the Willow Hanging Sign recipe.
- Stripped Willow Wood — Stripped bark-on-all-sides variant.
- Willow Leaves — Leaf canopy block. Drops saplings and occasionally hanging leaves.
- Hanging Willow Leaves — Decorative hanging foliage that generates beneath the canopy. No collision — players pass right through. Collect with shears.
- Willow Sapling — Plant to grow a new Willow tree.
