The Research Station and its advanced variants are key components of the Cybernetic Augmentation Center. They provide the computing power needed to unlock new augmentations. The Basic Research Station is the first step into cybernetic augmentation, allowing access to basic body improvements.

Each station attaches to the augmentation center as a research structure and requires 3 machine cores of its own.

The basic station covers the foundation tier of augments: health and armor upgrades, speed, mining speed, water breathing, size changes, block reach, and similar direct body improvements.

One station can run one research at a time. Building more stations increases parallel research rather than augment power.
