The small fluid tank stores up to 256 buckets of fluid.

When broken, the small tank keeps all of its contents in the item NBT. A comparator output reflects the tank's fill level. Stacked tanks will automatically let the fluid flow downward.

You can insert or extract fluids with items either by clicking the tank with the item or by using the slots in the GUI.
