The Industrial Chiller removes heat from high-temperature industrial processes. It is often required for stabilized nuclear reactor components or advanced material cooling.
It takes in water and outputs frozen ice blocks.
Its most important use is producing coolant for reactor setups that rely on absorber-based cooling, so it becomes much more useful once you start scaling nuclear power.
Environmental Efficiency
The chiller's performance depends heavily on its surroundings. It works twice as fast and with significantly better energy efficiency when placed in cold biomes. Internally this is based on the conventional cold biome tag rather than a tiny hardcoded list, so most snowy or frozen biomes qualify.
