What are Runic Powers?

Runic Powers are passive, triggered, or active weapon abilities. They can be etched onto a Netherite weapon to create a Runic weapon, and many can also appear on Runefused gems.

What are Runic Weapons?

Runic weapons sit between Netherite and Unique weapons in progression. Each one carries a Runic Power and receives that power at full strength; Runic weapons do not use Unique awakening scaling.

How do I create a Runic Weapon?

Use a Runic Tablet as the smithing template, a compatible Netherite weapon as the base, and a Diamond as the addition. Click the unidentified Runic weapon in your inventory to reveal its power.

How do I repair a Runic Weapon?

Runic weapons can be repaired with Netherite Ingots.

How do I obtain a Runic Tablet?

Runic Tablets can be found through injected chest loot, including eligible modded structure chests. The default loot system guarantees a tablet by the 60th eligible miss, though servers and modpacks can configure this value.

How do I re-roll a Runic power?

Repeat the Runic smithing recipe with the Runic weapon as the base to roll a new power. Take the result normally so the reroll is applied correctly.

What is the 'Greater' prefix on my Runic power?

Some (not all) Runic powers can occasionally roll with the 'Greater' prefix in the item tooltip. Greater Runic powers are enhanced versions of their ordinary counterparts.
