The Dragon Health Crystal works in tandem with the Ender Dragon Health Gene to negate incoming damage.
While holding the Crystal in your inventory and possessing the Gene, any damage that would be dealt to the entity will instead be dealt to the Crystal. Note that only the first one in your inventory is taken into account! Having more than one will not make you safer.
By default, it can absorb up to 1,000 points (500 hearts) of damage before shattering. It can be repaired using Ghast Tears.
