The Metal Syringe is used to hold blood, which is the primary medium for injecting Genes into a host. Only the blood's owner will be able to accept the Genes contained within it.

Hold right-click to use the syringe, extracting blood from the entity you're looking at. While holding a filled Metal Syringe, the blood's owner will glow through walls.

It will be contaminated, requiring decontamination in a Blood Purifier before it can be used.

Then, place it into a Plasmid Injector to inject completed Plasmids into it.

Each completed Plasmid contains a Gene, which will be given to the blood's owner upon re-injecting the blood. You can have as many Plasmids injected into the Syringe as you like.

Once you have a Syringe with injected Plasmids, use the Syringe again to re-inject the blood back into the owner, granting them the Genes contained within.
