The Efficiency Addon reduces the energy use of your machinery. Installing this addon reduces the energy consumption of the machine by 20% per cycle. The machine will not be any faster, but it'll need less RF/t.

This is especially useful for machines that run constantly or for setups where energy generation is limited. Multiple efficiency addons can be stacked to further minimize power usage.

Applicable to all machines that consume energy each tick they work.

Energy Calculations

With default configs, the bonuses are additive, not multiplicative. This means that one efficiency addon reduces the energy usage by 20%, two by 40%, etc.

Note that an efficiency bonus of +100% means that only half the energy is needed, and +200% efficiency only needs a quarter. An efficiency change of -100% would make the machine need twice as much energy.
