Ostafrikasaurus is a potentially dubious genus of theropod dinosaur from the Late Jurassic period of what is now the Lindi Region, Tanzania.
It is known only from fossil teeth discovered sometime between 1909 and 1912, during an expedition to the Tendaguru Formation by the Natural History Museum of Berlin.
The teeth bear a resemblance to those of spinosaurids, leading some researchers to consider it a possible early member of that group.

Appearance

• Medium-sized theropod with a robust, muscular build and a long, counterbalancing tail
• Displays clear sexual dimorphism in coloration:
• Males have a light green base with bold orange-red dorsal banding running from the head to the tail tip, with darker green patches along the back and a pale yellowish-green underbelly and legs
• Females are a uniform dark green with subtle darker green banding, and a lighter green underbelly and legs
• In-game size: 10 blocks long and 4 blocks tall

Behavior

• Hostile: Actively attacks players and most creatures on sight
• A dangerous apex predator of its environment, capable of pursuing prey over distance
• May exhibit increased aggression near water, consistent with possible spinosaurid affinities

Obtaining

Ostafrikasaurus does not spawn naturally. To obtain one, you must:

1. Enable Experimental Features
2. Find Ostafrikasaurus Remains or fossils
3. Use the fossil revival process to create an Ostafrikasaurus
4. Hatch from an Ostrich Egg type egg

Diet

• Carnivore: feeds on meat sources
• An active predator, likely capable of ambushing or pursuing prey
