The Mosquito is a small flying insect found in humid environments worldwide. Known for feeding on blood and serving as disease vectors in real life, mosquitoes have existed for millions of years. In-game, the mosquito is a tiny passive mob that adds ambient life to swamps and jungles.

Appearance

• Tiny insect with a slender, elongated body
• Long, thin legs and transparent wings
• Distinctive proboscis (feeding tube)
• Buzzing flight pattern
• In-game size: 1 block long and 1 block tall

Behavior

• Passive: Does not attack players or other mobs
• Flies slowly in erratic patterns near water sources
• Often found in swamps, jungles, and humid areas
• Adds ambient atmosphere with buzzing sounds

Obtaining

Mosquito spawns naturally in jungle and swamp biomes.

Diet

• Herbivore: feeds on plant nectar in-game
• In real life, female mosquitoes feed on blood while males feed on nectar

When defeated, Mosquito does not drop any items.
