Metriacanthosaurus (meaning "moderately-spined lizard") is a genus of metriacanthosaurid dinosaur from the Oxford Clay Formation of England, dating to the Late Jurassic, around 160 million years ago.
It was a medium-large predator with distinctive neural spines along its back.

Appearance

• Medium-sized theropod with a muscular build
• Distinctive moderately tall neural spines forming a subtle ridge along its back
• Long jaws lined with sharp, serrated teeth
• In-game size: 10 blocks long and 3 blocks tall

Behavior

• Hostile: Will actively attack players and most other creatures on sight
• Roams its territory aggressively, chasing prey over long distances
• Uses powerful bites and lunges to overwhelm targets

Obtaining

Metriacanthosaurus does not spawn naturally. To obtain one, you must:

1. Find Metriacanthosaurus Remains or fossils
2. Use the fossil revival process to create a Metriacanthosaurus
3. Hatch from an Alligator Egg type egg

Diet

• Carnivore: feeds on meat sources
• Hunts medium to large animals and will scavenge when necessary
