Proceratosaurus is a genus of small theropod dinosaur that lived during the Middle Jurassic of England.
It is known from a mostly complete skull, showing a distinctive nasal crest that hints at its evolutionary ties to later tyrannosauroids.
Appearance
- Small, lightly built theropod with long legs for quick pursuit
- Distinctive nasal crest rising from the snout
- Narrow jaws lined with sharp, serrated teeth
- In-game size: 5 blocks long and 2 blocks tall
Behavior
- Neutral: Will not attack unless provoked
- Retaliates when attacked
- Hunts small animals but avoids larger predators
- Often found alone or in pairs, patrolling forest edges
Obtaining
Proceratosaurus does not spawn naturally. To obtain one, you must:
- Find
Proceratosaurus Remains or fossils
- Use the fossil revival process to create a Proceratosaurus
- Hatch from a Chicken Egg type egg

- Carnivore: feeds on
meat sources - Hunts small creatures and scavenges when necessary

- Proceratosaurus lived in the Middle Jurassic period in what is now England, being one of the earliest known Tyrannosauroids, the same superfamily the Late Cretaceous Tyrannosaurus belonged to!
- Originally, Proceratosaurus was named for it's supposed close relationship with Ceratosaurus, due to an incomplete part of it's head being misinterpreted as a horn, which we now know would've likely been part of a crest, akin to the one present in Guanlong, a close relative of Proceratosaurus!
- Proceratosaurus lived alongside animals like Cetiosaurus and Cardiodon, in what is now the Forest Marble Formation of England!
- The achievement "Clever Little Hunter" reflects Proceratosaurus's role as an intelligent small predator during the Middle Jurassic
