Spinosaurus is a genus of large spinosaurid theropod dinosaur that lived in what is now North Africa during the Cenomanian stage of the Late Cretaceous. It is one of the largest known carnivorous dinosaurs and is easily recognized by its elongated snout and distinctive sail.

Appearance

• Long, crocodile-like snout filled with conical teeth adapted for catching fish
• Large neural spines forming a tall sail along its back
• Strong forelimbs with large claws used for grasping prey
• Semi-aquatic body proportions with a deep tail and robust hind limbs
• Displays sexual dimorphism, along with a distinct Legacy color variant:
  • Males have a warm reddish-brown head and body with a deep red, blue-patterned sail
  • Females have a similar red head but a cooler, greyer body tone beneath the sail
  • The Legacy variant stands apart from both, with a dark grey-black body and a striking purple sail
• In-game size: 18 blocks long and 8 blocks tall, making it one of the largest creatures in Jurassic Saga

Behavior

• Hostile: Will attack players and most mobs on sight
• Shows increased aggression near water sources
• Prefers riverbanks, swamps, and coastal areas
• Hunts both land and aquatic prey, often wading into water to pursue targets
• May roar or posture when encountering other large predators

Obtaining

Spinosaurus does not spawn naturally. To obtain one, you must:

1. Enable Experimental Features
2. Find Spinosaurus Remains or fossils
3. Use the fossil revival process to create a Spinosaurus
4. Hatch from an Ostrich Egg type egg

Diet

• Piscivore: feeds primarily on fish sources
• Particularly effective at hunting aquatic creatures due to its long snout and strong bite
