Protoceratops is a genus of small protoceratopsid dinosaurs that lived in Asia during the Late Cretaceous, around 75–71 million years ago. The genus includes two species: P. andrewsi and the larger P. hellenikorhinus. It is often depicted locked in combat with Velociraptor, based on a famous fossil find.

Appearance

• Small ceratopsian with a short frill and beaked mouth
• Robust body and strong limbs for digging or foraging
• Lacked horns but had a characteristic frill shape unique to the genus
• In-game size: 5 blocks long and 2 blocks tall

Behavior

• Neutral: Will not attack unless provoked
• Retaliates when attacked
• Often found in small groups, reflecting herd-like behavior
• Uses its beak and body weight to defend itself when cornered

Obtaining

Protoceratops does not spawn naturally. To obtain one, you must:

1. Find Protoceratops Remains or fossils
2. Use the fossil revival process to create a Protoceratops
3. Hatch from a Chicken Egg type egg

• Herbivore: feeds primarily on Leaves
• Grazes on shrubs and low vegetation
