Tylosaurus was a massive marine reptile from the Late Cretaceous period, belonging to the mosasaur family.
It could reach over 14 meters in length, making it one of the largest mosasaurs.
As a top predator, it fed on fish, other marine reptiles, and even smaller mosasaurs, dominating the ancient seas of North America.
Appearance
- Long, streamlined body built for powerful swimming
- Narrow, elongated snout used for ramming and stunning prey
- Large, conical teeth ideal for gripping slippery marine animals
- Paddle-like limbs and a strong tail fluke for rapid propulsion
- Row of small bony spines running along the back and tail, absent in juveniles
- Coloration varies by variant, from cool blue-grey and near-black tones to warmer tan and brown patterning
- In-game size: 18 blocks long and 2 blocks tall
Behavior
- Hostile: Attacks players and most aquatic creatures on sight
- Uses high-speed lunges to ambush prey from below or behind
- Patrols deep waters and coastal regions, aggressively defending its territory
Obtaining
Tylosaurus does not spawn naturally. To obtain one, you must:
- Find
Tylosaurus Remains or fossils
- Use the fossil revival process to create a Tylosaurus
- Hatch from an Alligator Egg type egg
Diet
- Piscivore: feeds primarily on
fish sources - Hunts fish, squids, and other marine reptiles
